Classes at the Mill 2021

Bring your friends, family, and neighbors to learn new skills or refine old ones, take a stroll through local history, and more at Chase’s Mill this summer. Programs begin July 3 and run through September 11. All instructors or course leaders live in or near Mill Hollow and look forward to sharing their practical knowledge and fond connections to the Mill.

Class Size: 30 / Adults and children age 10 + accompanied by an adult

Join your neighbors for an evening at Chase's Mill to hear stories of the past and present that relate to Mill Hollow, Lake Warren, and of course, Chase's Mill. Set against the babbling of Warren Brook, this collection of tales will be told live and without amplification. Grab a refreshment and sit back for an hour and a half and enjoy local storytellers (to be announced) and their recollections of place.

About Barb Davis: I grew up in a small town in Western New York, but as a recent transplant to East Alstead, I’ve already become part of the fabric of this vibrant community and feel closely connected to Chase's Mill. Currently I have a pottery studio on Old Settlers Road. I love stories and storytelling, swimming in Lake Warren, and hiking the hills and paths of East Alstead.
