ALSTEAD — The Chase Mill was the first. And it is now the last — the last mill standing in town — which is why the couple who own the building are working to preserve it as a centerpiece of New Hampshire history.
Mow Kazati and Kate Tarlow Morgan received an anonymous donation recently to have some emergency repairs done on the foundation of the mill, also known as the Mill at Mill Hollow, on Route 123 along Warren Brook in the eastern part of town. Read more…
