Paper arts: from decorating paper to making books and boxes (Class 1)

Class Fee: $40 + $10 materials per class ($40 total materials)

Class Size: 6-8 / Adults and teens

In this four-part class, we will play with several different ways of decorating paper. Then we’ll learn a few simple book-making techniques before moving onto slightly more complex books and simple boxes. Each class will cover about an hour of hands-on instruction followed by an hour of time to practice and work on your own projects.

Nancy Botkin is the granddaughter of Edith and Heman Chase. She spends her winters at her home in San Francisco learning and practicing new book and paper craft skills. She then teaches them to others in the summer. This is her third year teaching at the Mill.
